A New Melle police sergeant sent numerous explicit text messages to a third-grade teacher and pulled a Taser on her at her classroom, prosecutors say. Terry G. Calahan, 39, of the 3800 block of Hopewell Road in New Melle, was charged today with harassment and violating a protection order, both misdemeanors. Story in St. Louis Post Dispatch |
