RPMC Lasers, an O'Fallon, MO-based company, has released a new laser system. The highly efficient diode-pumped TID laser generates 1064 nm output as well as 1.57 micron output for rangefinding. The standard version outputs are 50 and 20 mJ respectively with ~4 nanosecond pulses. This rugged laser operates to 100 Hz in standard configuration. The standard TID series compact laser is perfectly suited to short wave infrared imaging and other laser radar applications. The higher energy version is ideal for laser designation applications. The innovative resonator coupled with a monolithic OPO was designed for airborne operation and can be easily integrated into turrets and other space constrained environments. The scalable resonator design permits customization for different wavelengths, output energies, and powers. The A-TID can deliver up to 500 mJ of 1064 nm output without significant growth in the laser enclosure. RPMC Lasers was started in 1996 in O'Fallon, MO by Dean Micke and Chuck Ratermann.
